Ursa Major Owners’ Annual Meet-Up at York and Rovers Chances!

Today marks a very special occasion for Ursa Major Racing as we gather for our annual owners’ meet-up at York Racecourse. Over 100 of our fantastic owners are expected, all enjoying the day from the stunning Ebor Stand with its superb boxes and incredible views of the track.

Adding even more excitement to the day, Curious Rover takes her place in the 3.00 at York, with promising apprentice Shay Farmer on board, claiming a valuable 7lbs. Drawn in stall 6, Rover looks well positioned to use her trademark early speed. If she can ping the gates, grab the rail, and get into her rhythm, it could be up to the rest of the field to try and reel her in.

She has already proven she can beat today’s well-fancied favourite in the past, so she’s certainly not without a chance. On her best form, she should have at least solid each-way prospects—and with over 100 owners cheering her down the home straight, who knows what fairytales could unfold?

A win at York would be extra special, fulfilling a long-held dream of racing manager Craig, who has always hoped to see the famous Battenberg silks in the winners’ enclosure here.

Good luck to all connections, and here’s wishing every Ursa Major owner—whether at York today or following from afar—a fantastic weekend and some fruitful punting!
