Two Runners for Ursa Major Racing Today

It’s a busy one for the Battenberg silks with two runners to look forward to.

First up we’ve got Ingennio (pictured below) in the 4.10 for Lizzie Quinlan, with Sean Quinlan taking the ride. Last time was all about blowing away the cobwebs after a long break, so we’re hoping to see him take a step forward today. A finish in the top half would be a really positive sign and set him up perfectly for what’s ahead.

Later this evening, it’s the turn of Sassy Glory in the 6.40 at Newcastle for Mark Walford, partnered again by Rhys Elliott. Sassy is as genuine as they come — she tries her heart out every run and deserves to get her head in front. Back at a track she likes, we’ve got a handy draw and Rhys knows exactly how to get the best from her. Hopefully, it’ll be a case of “catch me if you can” once those gates open!

Best of luck to all connections, and here’s hoping we’ve got plenty to cheer about today.
