Race Day Ready – Joshua Des Flos

Today we head to Carlisle with one runner — Joshua Des Flos, who lines up in the 3:47 for Sam England, partnered by Jonny England.

It’s his first run for a while, and he’s carrying a fair bit of weight, so today is all about giving him a nice, confidence-building experience. The main aim is to get him enjoying himself out there — if he can finish in the first half of the field and pass a few late on, that would be a really positive step forward to build on next time.

Yesterday’s runner, Heritier, is thankfully fine this morning. He’s a little stiff and has a small cut, but nothing serious — he’ll soon be back in full work. Thank you to everyone who sent kind messages; they’re always appreciated.

Best of luck to all connections today, and as always, we’ll have updates and post-race thoughts on our social media channels throughout the afternoon.
