Race Day Insight: Gressington Back in Class and Ready to Compete
Gressington heads back to the track today under the guidance of trainer Katie Scott, with Rowan Scott taking the ride. Confidence is high in the camp, and there’s good reason for it.
We were very pleased with his most recent run. Although the result shows a sixth-place finish, that doesn’t tell the full story. It was an extremely competitive contest, and Gressington travelled and battled far better than the bare form suggests. He showed real determination throughout, and the feedback coming out of that race was overwhelmingly positive.
Today, he steps back down in class, which should play to his strengths. Combined with the solid work he’s been putting in at home and his proven form at this track, we’re optimistic about a strong performance. On paper and on the gallops, everything points toward a run that should see him firmly in the mix — we’d be disappointed not to see him feature in the first three.
Good luck to all the connections and supporters heading to the course today. Your enthusiasm is always appreciated, and days like this are what make racing special.
And a little teaser… we’ve got something exciting on the horizon for all our followers and members. Keep an eye on our social media channels — big news is coming soon!
