Manager’s Thoughts – Today’s Runners

We’re back on track today with two runners for Ursa Major Racing.

4:03 Redcar – May Blossom (David Allan)

The Camacho team will be walking the course beforehand, and if the ground rides too quick, May Blossom may not take her chance. Should she run, we’d like to think she has a solid each-way opportunity. She ran well last time out, and if she can return to that form, we’d expect her to be in the mix for the placings. With only a few more runs left before heading to the breeding sheds, where she’ll make a lovely broodmare, we’ll be hoping for a strong performance.

5:10 Uttoxeter – Restandbethankful “Rocky” (Sean Quinlan)

Rocky (pictured below) lines up in what doesn’t look the strongest of races on paper, and we’d like to think he has a very good each-way chance. He’s been slipping down the handicap, and if he can bounce back to form, we’d expect him to be competitive and hopefully finish in the first three or four.
