Manager’s Thoughts – Today’s Runners
We’re looking forward to a busy day with two runners for Ursa Major Racing.
5:10 Bath – Prince Quattro (Luke Morris)
Prince Quattro (pictured below) is still finding his feet on the flat, and today looks another good opportunity to learn more about him. The race itself is on the weaker side apart from a clear favourite, who looks the one to beat. Our main aim is to see Quattro take another step forward from his last run, getting into a rhythm and hopefully finishing ahead of a few more rivals. If the favourite underperforms, he could be in with a winning chance, but realistically, we’d be very happy with a strong run into the places today.
6:52 Musselburgh – Black Storm (Callum Rodriguez)
Black Storm has already proved to be a fantastic addition, finishing runner-up twice and showing plenty of promise as a 2-year-old. He’s still developing, and we think he’ll be an even better horse at three, but for now he’s doing everything right. With Callum Rodriguez booked, his strength and experience will be a big advantage, and we go there confident he has a favourite’s chance. Hopefully he can get his head in front this evening.
Best of luck to all our owners heading to the races today—we’ll be cheering both runners on and hoping for plenty to get excited about!
