Manager’s Thoughts – Lumenbourg (4:35 Redcar)
We head to Redcar today with Lumenbourg, who runs in the 4:35 for Julie Camacho, with Ryan Sexton taking the ride.
He’s been a model of consistency in recent months, finishing in the frame in each of his last eight starts, and we’re hoping he can maintain that fine form once again before heading off for a well-earned winter break.
The draw hasn’t been particularly kind, with a high number likely to make things slightly more challenging, and we’ve discussed a small tactical adjustment with Ryan. The plan is for him to go forward as usual, but not to get caught up in any early pace battles that could see him using too much energy too soon. He’s going well at home and continues to thrive in himself, so we’re optimistic of another solid performance if things fall our way in running.
Whatever happens today, he’s been a real credit to the team this season — consistent, genuine, and always giving his best — and we’d love to see him sign off on a high note before his winter holidays.
Good luck to all connections!
