Double Delight for Ursa Major Racing as Century of Winners is Reached!

As they say ‘You wait ages for one – and then two come along at the same time ‘ — and that’s exactly how it unfolded for us at Ursa Major Racing today. In the space of just two hours and twenty minutes, we enjoyed an unforgettable double success on the track, marking not just two brilliant performances, but a major milestone in the journey of our beloved club.

🏇 Prince Quattro Becomes Our 100th Winner!

The first hero of the day was Prince Quattro, who stormed to victory in the 4:25 at Market Rasen under a well-judged and patient ride by Alex Chadwick. It was a thrilling performance that saw him travel midfield behind a clear leader, before making stylish headway to challenge. After a slight check in the run-in, he switched left and found plenty to lead close home, securing an emotional and momentous 100th winner for Ursa Major Racing!

A huge thank you must go to James Owen, whose training excellence helped us reach this special milestone. Prince Quattro’s win means more than just a number — it represents years of commitment, teamwork, and belief from all involved.

🏆 Lumenbourg Kicks Off the Next Century

Barely had we finished celebrating at Market Rasen before Lumenbourg took to the track in the 6:45 at Doncaster — and what a performance he delivered! Travelling strongly throughout, he led again going easily over 2f out, was pushed along, and pulled clear in commanding style. He was never in doubt and crossed the line full of running to make it winner number 101 for the club.

All credit to Steve Brown and Julie Camacho, who have brought Lumenbourg to peak condition and ensured that we didn’t just stop at 100 — we marched straight on towards the next chapter!
