After joining Mark Walford, Sassy Glory began to show the benefit of patience and careful placement. Her career has been built on steady improvement, with several strong placed efforts before finally getting her deserved breakthrough victory at Newcastle over one mile, where she stayed on strongly to get her head in front.

Foaled on 27th February 2021, Sassy Glory is an Irish-bred bay mare who has developed into a consistent handicap performer. She began her career over shorter trips, gaining valuable experience before gradually improving as she stepped up in distance.
Her breakthrough success came at Newcastle over one mile, where she travelled strongly and stayed on well to record her first career victory. That win was particularly rewarding after a number of near misses and demonstrated the improvement she had made.
