Two Runners Today for Ursa Major – Ashington at Cheltenham & Bay Dream Believer at Beverley

Today we’re delighted to be back on course with two runners, both trained by Mark Walford, as we head to two very different but equally exciting race meetings.

Ashington – Cheltenham 5.00

First up, Ashington returns to the iconic Cheltenham Racecourse – a venue that needs no introduction. It’s a track where he has previously performed with great credit, and his owners are thrilled to be back at such a prestigious stage. Fresh from a recent outing at Kelso, Ashington is in good spirits. Although he remains on a fairly lofty handicap mark, which has historically taken some time to come down, we know that on his best form he’s capable of being right in the mix. A placing – or better – wouldn’t be out of the question if things fall into place.

Bay Dream Believer – Beverley (5.37)

Our second runner of the day is the ever-popular Bay Dream Believer, who makes her seasonal debut at Beverley in the 5.37. A real character in the yard, she may be barely bigger than a pony but has the heart of a lion. Her quirky nature and relentless determination have won over the hearts of Ursa owners and supporters alike. While she is expected to come on for the run today, her sheer will to compete could see her put in a bold showing. We know the ability is there – don’t be surprised if she exceeds expectations.

Ursa Major Racing – Stable Updates & A Busy Weekend Ahead

Earlier today, our racing manager shared full updates with all Ursa owners regarding the horses currently in training. It’s an exciting time of year, and with potentially three more runners lining up on Sunday, there’s plenty to look forward to. Be sure to keep an eye on this blog for a full snapshot of all our horses and plans for the weekend ahead.

Stay tuned and good luck to all connections!
