Race Preview: Rock DJ at Wetherby (12:50)

Today we head to Wetherby with one runner, Rock DJ, who lines up in the 12:50 for Mark Walford with Tom Midgley taking the ride.

Rock DJ is a horse we’ve always held in good regard. He shows us plenty at home and has the raw ability, but he’s still piecing everything together on the track. There are moments in his races where his inexperience shows, and today is another step in his education.

We’re not going into this expecting him to get his head in front just yet; the primary goal is progression. What we’d like to see is a more polished performance than his last couple of outings—better focus, sharper jumping, and signs that he’s beginning to understand his job. If he can take that step forward, it will give us something positive to build on for the season ahead.

Best of luck to everyone travelling to the track today, and to all connections involved. Let’s hope Rock DJ continues moving in the right direction.
