Day 1 – All Weather Bonus Series: Two Runners for Ursa Major

Today marks the start of the All Weather Bonus Series, and we’re back in action with two runners representing Ursa Major Racing. This meeting always attracts plenty of interest, with many horses specifically targeted for the series — so don’t be surprised to see a few finding form at the right time.

Cooperation (Pictured below)

Our first runner of the day is Cooperation, trained by Katie Scott and partnered by Paul Mulrennan. It’s a tight and competitive race, featuring several progressive three-year-olds. The plan remains the same — he’ll be dropped in early and look to come with his trademark late run. A placing here would be a pleasing result in what looks an open contest.

Carolus Magnus

Next up is Carolus Magnus, who returns following a smart win last time out. Oisin McSweeney onboard, and the gelding is 2lb well in with the handicapper. It’s another very competitive race, with the new favourite attracting strong overnight support — always a sign to take note of. However, if Carolus runs to his mark from last time, he should be right there in the mix for another strong finish — and potentially another victory.

We’re also busy at the sales this week and next, as we continue to look for new additions to strengthen the team. Our goal remains the same — to improve quality while keeping shares as close to cost price as possible, ensuring Ursa Major Racing remains the best value in the industry.

Good luck to all our runners, connections, and fellow owners today — and don’t forget to check our social media channels for live updates throughout the day!
