Evening Action: Gressington Lines Up at Newcastle

It’s a quieter evening for Ursa Major today as we head to Newcastle with just the one runner, Gressington, who lines up in the 6.15pm under Jason Hart. We had been set to send out two runners, but a minor issue with Prince Quattro means he has been declared a late non-runner. The problem is not serious, and as always, the welfare of our horses comes first.

Gressington returns to a track he knows well, and his form here gives us encouragement. He hasn’t been beaten far on his last two starts, showing consistency and a willingness to dig in when it matters. With Jason Hart back in the saddle, we’re hopeful he can help unlock a little more improvement tonight.

On paper, Gressington looks to have a solid each-way chance. The race features some familiar C&D performers in Jesmond Dawn, Kings School, and Flying Fletcher, who regularly run well here and are likely to be involved at the business end. It should make for a competitive and interesting contest.

Wishing the very best of luck to all connections and everyone involved this evening. Here’s hoping for a safe run and a big performance from Gressington.
