Cheltenham – Prince Quattro Returns!

Today, Ursa Major Racing heads to the home of jumps, Cheltenham, with our runner Prince Quattro, who lines up in the 2.25 for James Owen, partnered by Freddie Mitchell. As you’d expect at Cheltenham, it’s a fiercely competitive field, but we’re delighted to see Quattro back on the track after a few weeks off to freshen up.

He’s been looking absolutely fantastic at home, moving well and showing plenty of enthusiasm in his work. The short break seems to have done him the world of good, and the team couldn’t be happier with how he’s shaping up ahead of today’s run.

The plan will be to ride him with patience, allowing him to settle early before coming through with a late run. Freddie knows him well and will look to produce him in the closing stages, hopefully staying on strongly up the famous Cheltenham hill for a bold finish.

Excitingly, Prince Quattro is also entered for the All-Weather Bonus Series next week, which means he’ll be running under both codes — a real treat for his owners and followers, offering even more opportunities to enjoy days at the races.

It’s brilliant to have Quattro representing Ursa Major Racing on such a prestigious stage, and we’re all looking forward to seeing how he goes today.
