Foaled on 1st February 2017, Heritier is a French-bred bay gelding who has enjoyed a long and successful National Hunt career. He has recorded six victories from 39 starts, including three wins over fences, two over hurdles and one in a National Hunt Flat race, highlighting his versatility across disciplines.
Throughout his career he has shown a preference for distances around two miles to two and a half miles, where his tactical speed and stamina can be utilised. He is a horse who travels strongly, jumps with enthusiasm and is capable of producing his best when allowed to race prominently and dictate matters.
One of his career highlights came when winning a competitive handicap hurdle at Carlisle over 2 miles 3 furlongs, demonstrating his ability to battle strongly under pressure. He has also produced several excellent efforts in chase company, proving himself against experienced handicappers.
