Illustrissime
Illustrissime joined the URSA Major team in the Autumn of 2019 from the Dan Skelton yard. He was purchased with the intentions of being a dual code horse for the club on the flat and as a jumper as well. “Dan” as the Mark Walford stable staff like to call him, has run to a career high of 80 on the flat with his most recent eye-catching efforts in a Class 4 handicap on the all weather at Newcastle in June 2020, where he was running on to finish fourth.
As a jumper Illustissime has an official rating of 112 and we are hoping to see more of “Dan” on the jumps as the last summer jumps season progresses. At the age of 7, Illustrissime certainly still has some good years ahead of him over hurdles and fences.
