Carlovian

Carlovian originally joined the Ursa team in August 2020, he is a 8 year old gelding by Acclamation and Mimisel.

Carlovian has had a great racing career so far with 6 wins and 10 placed efforts across multiple distances. In partnership with Profit Pony Racing we are pleased to welcome Carlovian to the Ursa Major Racing Club family!

UPDATE March 2021

Carl is back! We are delighted that Carlovian is back for 2021 and is part of the URSA Major/Mark Walford Partnership, a 6 month lease of Carlovian for URSA Major Racing. This could be a landmark season for Carl and we are hoping he reaches 100 Runs, a first for Mark Walford.

UPDATE November 2020

Carlovian ran seven times in total during his lease spell for the club. His record was 5613462 during that period. He was a consistent horse who never ran a bad race and always gave his all every time he raced. His win came at Catterick on the 8th September 2020 under a perfectly timed ride under Kevin Stott.

He achieved a further 2 places after the win and club members have fond memories of his summer spell with us!
